Zombies have been around for a while now..... On the big screen, in music videos, books, all forms of gaming, and of course Halloween.....

But never on TV as part of a regular series.

Hopefully Rising Productions can change all that... Shocked

Lifeless (The Series) has wrapped up 3 shows and the studio is looking for a network to televise it.

There isn't much info on it yet, but here is what is on their website at www.lifelesstheseries.com

Rising Productions presents LIFELESS, the first ever episodic zombie series. The drama chronicles the lives of seven ordinary individuals after a catastrophic biological event. When the dead begin to rise, the characters must fight to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.

LIFELESS has been in development for over a year and we are currently in post-production on the first three episodes. Subscribe to our mailing list for news and updates and watch for a ton of great content that we’ll be adding to the site. In the meantime, check out the teaser here and prepare to be infected…

I added the teaser trailer here on the site, so stop over and check it out...

DUDE, I'm excited!!! Very Happy

Finally a tv series about the Zombie Apocalypse!!!
(I actuallly think I'm having a hard-on) Shocked

As for the Network, I think HBO would be a nice one, no much censorship there.

It would take years for it to be aired in Holland though....

I also wouldn't mind if it was shown on our regular public TV networks. I don't need extreme gore to enjoy a suspenseful movie/show.

I just want the millions of zombie/goth lovers to show their support for this. Here in the US, a network that puts a great show in the worst timeslot (Fox) will cancel it and blame it on poor writing/acting/etc and not themselves for screwing it up. This goes back to a show called 'Strange Luck' in the 90's that ran around the X-files on Friday Nights. Luckily it lasted 2 seasons.

But anyway, I am sure it will do pretty good no matter where it ends up, and then we can count on endless clones of this style of show.

I don't know if this is good or not, but the Lifeless web site has changed.......

I liked the old intro they had. The new site looks hacked and has what appears to be Latin in a paragraph...

Quote::
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Vestibulum vitae felis. Nulla eget augue. Vivamus in odio. Nullam quis tortor ut metus convallis imperdiet. Integer nec lectus. Vivamus non augue. Integer urna enim, dignissim eget, faucibus eget, tincidunt a, nunc. Curabitur scelerisque pulvinar nulla. Duis placerat volutpat diam. Cras dolor. Curabitur eleifend elementum urna. Ut interdum dolor consequat quam. Ut massa. Duis ac mi. Duis posuere turpis ac sapien luctus consequat. Nam consectetuer dolor vitae risus. Morbi sit amet massa. Cum sociis natoque penatibus et magnis dis parturient montes, nascetur ridiculus mus.

I used an e-mail address I never use to sign up at the bottom, so I guess we will find out.

They even removed the forums.....

It might be good after all...... I found out what the words are...

Quote::
In publishing and graphic design, lorem ipsum is common placeholder text used to demonstrate the graphic elements of a document or visual presentation, such as font, typography, and layout. It is a form of "greeking".

Even though using "lorem ipsum" often arouses curiosity due to its resemblance to classical Latin, it is not intended to have meaning. Where text is visible in a document, people tend to focus on the textual content rather than upon overall presentation, so publishers use lorem ipsum when displaying a typeface or design in order to direct the focus to presentation. "Lorem ipsum" also approximates a typical distribution of letters in English.

Even focusing on the graphics of the page, it sucks.... I liked the older site better.

I just sent them an e-mail asking for any information on the direction of the series.

If they fail, I hope they at least release the 3 episodes they already filmed so we can see how it would have been.

The bad thing is that is takes about 3 episodes for the actors to get into character. After that, it should get better.

Thanks for your interest in LIFELESS. We've independently produced three episodes and we're currently talking with distributors. We hope to start airing/posting episodes very soon. In the meantime, we'll be posting the full trailer that tells more of the story and gives a better sense of the scope of the series.

Make sure you join the mailing list for updates and please stay tuned!

New life was given to the Lifeless a few days ago.....

The website was updated with items for sale in the CafePress store.....

I hate cafepress, but at least this shows some progress of NOTHING over the past year......

They did send in the pilot for the 2008 Independent Pilot Competition at The New York Television Festival, but it didn't get selected as a winner.

So I guess it won't be aired soon.

Still,
here's the pilot!

Good and/or Bad News.......

It looks like they will air Lifeless "before the end of April"

That might be the good news......

They were 'picked up' by FearNet (a cable channel and website)

They also don't know if it is going to be on TV or a webisode. Plus the fact that only 3 episodes were filmed is not so good news either.

Time will tell

Lifeless will premiere on FEARnet.com on May 17th! It will be OnDemand in the summer. Thank you everyone for your patience. Check it out. We will update you on the DVD soon.

I haven't been to the website (Fear.net) so I don not know anything more..... yet Dead!

As many of you know, Lifeless made it to streaming internet on a third world country internet server and IT SUCKED!!!

What is even worse is that I posted an honest review on their facebook page and it was DELETED because I felt the show was not up to standards.

Pretty sad when one cannot be free to say what they want if the product is bad.

If you do not believe me, check out THE POSITIVE reviews on the page....
