So far I've seen 3 types of coolers for the PS3.
Question is which one is the best?
And have you heard of a better one?

I really don't think that the PS3 really needs one as long as it is kept in a clean and well ventilated area.
I have mine sitting on a table and I barely notice any heat unless I stand next to it or touch it.
Now if I lived in the desert or other hot area, I might reconsider. I think ViralWhite has one and says it makes it sound like an Xbox360.....

The problem is ..my girlfriend....
She wants the PS3 neatly stashed inside my TV cupboard.
And then she is playing for hours straight when Oblivion came out.
And then after hours playing, the game freezes, which, I think, indicates the whole thing is getting overheated.
Girlfriends, huh...yep they suck.

I don't know how good they work, but I would choose the one that looks like an extension on the right side. As long as it still fits, I would go for original looks.
I am sure it is just going to blow the air around and do not know how effective it is.
Maybe ten years from now they will have wireless monitor/TV signals so all you need to do is plug it into the wall socket somewhere and stash it on top like the 2001 Space Odyssey Monolith.....
