Bridge on the River Kwai-11 viewsHow could I forget to add this picture ?? On one of our stops, they had tours to various places and this was one of them. For $80 we got the bridge tour a 4-star hotel room in Bangkok (WooHoo!) and lunch by the bridge. The hotel was in the center of the red light district..... What happens in Thailand, stays in Thailand.... Unless you don't protect yourself!!

Bridge on the River Kwai - Track shot-12 viewsHere is a picture of the bridge while on the tracks. It may look like there are no people there, but the bridge somehow cleared off in time to get the picture. Also during this tour, we stopped at a POW museum and war cemetery.

Mt Fuji Crater-9 viewsLooking down into and across the crater at the top. On the far side is a weather station. They said it takes about an hour to go around the rim, but I didn't feel I had time to do it.

Kowloon, Hong Kong-11 viewsThis is an area of Kowloon in Hong Kong. It is across the bay from the main area. The Kangaroo Pub was a great place during Happy Hour, but there were better places after the happy times
|

Picture of Hong Kong and Kowloon-13 viewsTook this picture from the trolley that goes up a steep hill. It was like a 45 degree incline. It was great at the top (aka Tourist Attraction) with restaurants and shops.

Double Decker Trolley-9 viewsI am sure this has British influence all over it.

Sydney Harbor Bridge-9 viewsA different view of the bridge over Sydney Harbor. This was taken from across the harbor opposite the main city.

Me on the flight deck-15 viewsPhoto shoot next to 4 live Hellfire missiles. It was quite warm out that day although the breeze was nice
|

Armed Helo-18 viewsThis was our helicopter (HH-60H). On the side are 4 live Hellfire missiles. They even said 'USMC' on the side (More later). Can't tell you why we had live missiles.... Other than the fact that it was not a practice/training exercise...
|

Trusty GAU-16-16 viewsHere is the other side to the 4 live Hellfire missiles..... A 50 Caliber machine gun capable of reaching 2 kilometers to anyone needing a headache. That is not my goofy ass in the picture..... :)
|

The Mythical F-14 Bunny-9 viewsWe made a port visit to San Diego and from what I can remember it was the Miramar Air Show. (This was a few years before I was permanently assigned to the Sunny Diego area...... Back then, the F-14 was a common sight, today they have flown into the sunset to rest.

Sunset Behind Mt Fuji-13 viewsAfter spending all day on Mt Fuji, we drove back and stopped to take a break. Luckily it was the end of the day and Mt Fuji was behind us.
